315 days. 13 countries. Uncountable memories. Our trip is coming to an end and it is time to go home.
We spent the last days looking back at this incredible year. We laughed, we loved, we cried, we fought, we suffered, we were hot, we were cold, we were broke – but most importantly we lived! We lived our dream and had the time of our lives. This adventure has changed us forever. As a couple we are now stronger than ever.
In the last 10 months we spent 644 hours on buses, trains, planes, ferries or in cars. We travelled 75.064 kilometers, not including the hours of walking. We surrounded the world 1.87 times. The travelling hours were exhausting and very often annoying, but each destination was worth it. We slept in 120 different beds – hostels, hotels, apartements, Airbnb, tents and friends houses. Some of them were great, others were horrible. We made new friends, one of the most important things of our trip. Some of them we will definitely see again in Europe.
Everyone keeps asking us about our favorite country. It is impossible to pick one. We have favorite memories and places, but each country was special on its own. These are our favorite places (in chronological order)

We are now looking forward to see our friends and families back home. We are also looking forward to our own beds and clean bathrooms. We can´t wait to have a fridge that is always full of food (especially cheese and German bread) 😉
Thank you to everyone who followed our adventure around the world through our blog, instagram, facebook or whatsapp. We hope you had a great time with our stories and pictures. And hopefully we will see you soon back home, or anywhere else in the world. We will keep updating this blog with some useful information for your next holiday. And we will also let you know what it feels like to be back. It is now time to start the „real life“ again. We have to find a job, an apartement and a new city to live in. We will let you know soon where to visit us 😉

Ich kann gar nicht glauben, dass die Zeit schon vorbei ist! Und mir wird etwas fehlen, wenn ich nicht mehr von euren Abenteuern lesen kann! 😉
Kommt gut zurück und dann alles Liebe für die nächsten Projekte, sprich: Arbeit, Wohnung etc.

Crazy, Ihr kommt schon zurück, kann es nicht glauben und während ich euren „letzten“ Artikel lese, werde ich ein wenig sentimental, was lese ich denn jetzt, wenn ich mal kurz eine Pause brauche ;).
Kommt sicher nach Hause, es war fantastisch euch auf eurer Reise begleiten zu dürfen.

Liebe Sandra,
die Zeit ist wirklich schnell vergangen – es war so spannend Eure Berichte zu lesen und immer eine schöne Abwechslung Euch um die Welt mit zufolgen.
