The two surprises of Southern Thailand

Vientiane
Compared to its neighbours Vientiane seems to be the smallest capital in the world. We checked this, it isn´t true. In international comparison it is quite big with around 700.000 inhabitants (did you know that Melekeok, the capital of Palao, has only 390 inhabitants?). Still, Vientiane feels very small when you first arrive here and have four days to kill before your flight.

Top things to do in beautiful Luang Prabang
Where to start describing this city? Luang Prabang is surrounded by Mekong and Nam Khan river and is a laid-back French colonial city. The French influence can be noticed in the buildings and especially in the amazing dining options. We fell in love with this place at first sight, especially because it was a relief compared to all the hectic Asian cities. more „Top things to do in beautiful Luang Prabang“
